The best book in the series. One of my all time favorite books I have ever read. I would not recommend reading this one out of order. Looking forward to seeing the movie for this one! J.K. Rowling may not write anymore books in this series, but I think others might pick up where she left off.
The New Father: A Dad’s Guide to the First Year by Armin A. Brott

Not as good as the Expectant Father, but still a good book. I rented it from the library, but I think this would be good to have as a reference, because in the beginning of every chapter (month 1, month 2, etc.) is a short list of what to expect from your child. Since I’m returning this to the library this week I won’t know what to expect for say my daughter’s 3rd month, unless I re-borrow the book.

I really enjoyed this book. It seems that everyone gets better than the last. Can’t believe how good a writer Rowling is. What an imagination. I’m looking forward to reading the next book as soon as I am able.

I can’t believe the average rating for this book is a 5. I mean it was good but a five? I enjoyed the story. It was very well put together, bu extraordinary gentlemen was also a very good story. Still not sure what to think about graphic novels. I’ll have to continue checking more out.
Farewell to Manzanar by Jeanne Wakatsuki Houston

I was a little let down. I was expecting to learn more about the camps, but instead learned more about the author. I didn’t feel like the story flowed very well and was not looking forward to reading more at anytime.

Very good novel about hackers and tracking them down. Had a hard time putting this one down and really sped through reading it.
The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch

Good. Reminded me of “Life’s Little Instruction Book”, but much better and more an account of Randy’s life. Thanks to Melissa who gave this book to Michelle to read. Michelle liked it too, although she said it was sad. She was right it is sad especially page 200!
The Dangerous Book for Boys by Conn Iggulden

Excellent book. Don’t think twice about purchasing this book. I loved pretty much everything about it. I think it will be a great book to share with my son some day. I’m very happy that my friend Melissa gave me this book in hardback form, so it will last many years.
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Vol. 1 by Alan Moore

Best graphic novel I have read thus far. Great artwork and a good story. Different from the movie in a lot of ways. I would say better than the movie, but not by too much. Characters are more interesting in the book.
